OPECST supports R&D in Synthesys Biology

The OPECST (French Parliamentary Office for Evaluation of Scientific and Technological Options) has recently produced a report (preliminary report in French) regarding the importance and risks of exploiting marine resources.

Although the OPECST clearly support such R&D themes, they also warn industries and the scientific community to respect marine environments while exploring new products.
