Keeping rich and complete metadata records is important for data FAIRification and for the scientific context of EMO BON datasets. As such, EMO BON sites are asked to fill in the metadata spreadsheets as soon as possible after a sampling event. This way we ensure there is a minimum of explanatory information for the analyses of the data.
